I have very high standards and expectations of those profiting from my home purchase and when you have the right team I believe they’re worth every penny! I expect my realtor to be responsive and available. I expect them to be proactive and anticipate issues and resolve them prior to becoming problems. I expect them to be deal closers. I expect them to treat me like a family member or good friend and as if I’m their only client. When I decided to move back to Columbia I chose Berkshire Hathaway based on their reputation and knowledge and trust in their ownership and realtors. Not only are these great people that I personally trust, but they are nose to the grindstone real estate bulldogs that I want in my corner for all the reasons and expectations previously mentioned. Berkshire Hathaway delivered on our new home purchase a couple months ago and I’m very happy about my choice to use them. When we chose to move from North Carolina to Columbia Missouri we found a jewel of a realtor in Julia Norregard.
She listened closely to what we were looking for in a home and worked tirelessly to answer all our questions and help us secure the house we needed. Being from out of state, we needed direction for services from many directions. Julia was knowledgeable and offered many suggestions for all of our needs. Her pleasant and easy demeanor made the process less stressful than we imagined it would be. Her professionalism was superb and she left no details overlooked. When we arrived here after driving 2 days, she made sure we had what we needed for a smooth and welcoming transition. We would wish for everyone to be fortunate enough to experience a home purchase like ours.

I have bought and sold several homes in my lifetime thus far and this last encounter with my realtor, Candace Cortez, and Berkshire Hathaway as a whole was so far above anything prior its hard to believe they provided the same service.
From the first contact, Candace was on it. It immediately felt like I was literally her only client from that moment on. She never pushed, only guided, me through the process, allowing me to pause where I needed, and when I needed. In addition to educating me in a way where I truly understood what was happening, Candace also helped simplify and get me in touch with the right service people for my new house. Because of this I called her "Jan's Muscle". I cannot recommend this team at Berkshire Hathaway more.
